What makes a real Body Butter?

Our Body Butters are based on the old fashioned, original formulas of how a true body butter is made! You will find most of the creams that are claiming to be Body Butters on the market are not true to what they should be. So what's the difference? Authentic Body Butters use a formula that only contain Butters (such as Shea Butters, Kokum Butters and Mango Butter for example) and oils, which make a nutrient rich formula packed with essential vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants just to name a few. Body Butters should be free of water in their formulas, they should be thick, heavier and more luxurious than creams. They do not need preservatives, and they are designed for intense moisturisation.

Some other brands will market creams as Body Butters, but the formulas contain water and where there is water there is often preservatives and artificial fragrances and sometimes even colours, which are not beneficial to the skin and can sometimes cause irritation. You can't have water in a formula without preservatives.

So, the old way is the best way! For you and your skin. It's the way we like it. Some old-fashioned formulas are the best!

Do you know the contents of your lip balm? People that regularly use lip balm, ingest a high amount of the product. That's why we think it's important to have a lip balm with no nasty ingredients and no unnecessary preservatives or additives. Our formula that has been perfected after many recipes that have been trialled and tested, is not only good for your lips. It is long lasting, Nourishing and Protecting. Our lip balm does not melt easily in hot weather, and has been designed to survive the Aussie Summer, especially in the car. And of course, it is a staple for winter, when our lips become dry and cracked. Using only the best natural butters, oils and essential oils, this formula is anhydrous, meaning that no water is needed and there is no need for any artificial preservatives.

Love the scent of the lemongrass and peppermint lip balms, they are so silky on your lips and last a long time. I feel now the colder weather is coming that these will protect my lips and keep them from drying and cracking.

The crystals don't feel harsh on my skin at all!
