What makes a real Body Butter?

Our Body Butters are based on the old fashioned, original formulas that Body Butters actually were! Now Body Butters are marketed as such, but you will find that most of them are just creams and not authentic Body Butters like ours. So whats the difference? Authentic Body Butters use a formula that only contain Butters (such as Shea Butters, Kokum Butters and Mango Butter for example) and oils, which make a nutrient rich formula packed with essential vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants just to name a few. Body Butters should be free of water in their formulas, they should be thick and heavier then creams. They do not need preservatives, and they are designed for intense moisturisation.

Some other brands will market creams as Body Butters, but the formulas are closer to creams, because they contain water and more often than not have preservatives and artificial fragrances and sometimes even colours, which are not beneficial to the skin and can sometimes cause irritation.

So, the old way is the best way! For you and your skin.
